Public Interest SA is committed to promoting transparency, accountability and good governance. We believe that citizens have a vital role to play in ensuring that public resources are used effectively and that public officials are held to account. Our mission is to work with various stakeholders to address complex economic, cultural, social, environmental, governance and public accountability challenges. We strive to empower citizens to play an active and informed role in shaping their communities and holding their leaders to account.
Established in 2008 under the visionary leadership of Tebogo Khaas, Public Interest SA has evolved into a prominent and widely acknowledged presence in the realms of public discourse, advocacy for public accountability, and the promotion of ethical values.
